Land of inspiration, 400 years of the Bois-Guilbert estate" exhibition

From 26 April to 2 November 2025.
To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the estate, a brand new exhibition invites visitors to discover the history of a Norman family and its estate, from the time it was founded in the early 17th century by Charles II Le Pesant, right up to the present day with the creation of the Sculpture Garden.
Discover portraits of illustrious family members such as the playwright brothers Pierre and Thomas Corneille and the economist Pierre Le Pesant de Boisguilbert. Family archives, paintings and books will help you understand the development of this estate, which is an integral part of the landscape and history of Normandy.
Three other anniversaries will be celebrated in 2025:
. The 100th anniversary of the last Pegasus cyclecar created by Étienne d'Arboval, the family's grandfather and former mayor of the village ;
. The 60th anniversary of the pony club founded by Louis de Pas, a pioneer of pony riding ;
. The 40th anniversary of Jean-Marc de Pas' design of the 7-hectare garden, to bring this family estate to life, share it and open it to the public;
Conferences and concerts linked to the 400 years of the estate, organised during the Spring Events and the Festival ‘Un Été musical au Jardin’.
