Normandy Impressionist Festival

a programme certified by Normandy Impressionist

Creation of an 'Impressionist Painters Garden' : exhibition of 20 bronze busts of major painters from the Impressionist period, created in public during the 2010 and 2013 Festivals, presented together for the first time in a dedicated space in the Garden. From 1st April to 1st November.

Exhibition 'Impressionist Gardens' by the Association of Friends of the Painters of the Rouen School. Installation in the château's salons of a unique exhibition of around thirty paintings selected by Antoine BERTRAN.
From 18 April to 28 June

Exhibition ‘The Uniqueness of Colour’ by Caroline COPPEY, contemporary plastic artist. Exhibition in the château’s salons, chapel and garden of a selection of works by Caroline COPPEY, based between the Paris region and Normandy, who has been working on colour and light for 30 years.
From 4 July to 1st November

SPRING EVENTS, APRIL, MAY, JUNE

  • Easter treasure hunt for families, 4th, 5th and 6th April (garden admission rate tarif d'entrée au jardin + 5€ per child or per person wishing to receive an illustrated booklet).

  • ‘Spring Festival’ organised by Rotary Rouen Collines during World Topiary Days (WTD) on 9 and 10 May, for the benefit of young people with multiple disabilities at the EEAP Tony Larue. Exhibitors, activities related to gardening and nature. Refreshments available. Access to the Garden at the normal rate. With EBTS - European Buxus Topiary Society

  • 'Meet us at the gardens', 23rd edition on the theme "Sight." Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free for under 18. Organized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication.

ART & GASTRONOMY DINNER AT THE château, 2ND EDITION, SATURDAY, MAY 23 FROM 6 PM TO 10:30 PM

Visit to the garden with Jean-Marc DE PAS, followed by a candlelit dinner at the castle with Chef Johann, by reservation (limited capacity).

A special moment, in the presence of the sculptor who created the garden, and Johann QUINQUENET, chef à domicile based in Bois-Guilbert.

Your participation in this dinner helps support the project. 

BOIS-GUILBERT ELEGANCE, BY ART AUTOMOBILE, 1ST EDITION, SUNDAY, JULY 5

An event that reminds us that the so-called vintage car, beyond its heritage aspect, is a form of art in its own right. An invitation for car enthusiasts and the wider public to discover, in its most demanding expression, exceptional bodywork, ingenious and innovative mechanics, and more generally what automobiles have been able to offer for many decades in terms of craftsmanship. A first edition endorsed by the FFVE.

Conference at 6pm by Didier BLAVETTE on ‘Our solar system and the universe’. Tour of the garden. Picnic.

EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS, 43RD EDITION, SATURDAY 19TH AND SUNDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER FROM 10AM TO 6PM

Exceptionally, reduced admission for all 6€,  free for under 18.

For its 43rd edition, the European Heritage Days, organised by the Ministry of Culture, will focus on the theme of ‘Heritage in Danger’.

The current restoration of the greenhouse, selected by the Heritage Mission led by the Heritage Foundation and Stéphane BERN, will be highlighted. 

Saturday and Sunday (10 am to 6 pm)

Personalised welcome and free visit to the Garden and temporary exhibitions.

BOIS-GUILBERT RETRO, 17TH EDITION, SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 FROM 10 AM TO 6 PM

Gathering of over 150 vintage and luxury vehicles in the garden, near the château.

Visit the garden to admire these exceptional vehicles and discuss with car enthusiasts. For this 17th edition, we invite exhibitors and visitors who wish to do so to come in costume !

Mandatory advance vehicle registration, starting in May : ici le projet d'invitation.

Bistronomic menu offered by chef Johann at the brazier, reservations required.

On site : light refreshments and association snack bar (sandwiches, crepes, drinks).
