Sculpture workshops

Immerse yourself in the world of sculpture. Enjoy a unique creative experience, in an inspiring setting, in Jean-Marc de Pas' studio.

MODELING WORKSHOPS WITH MODEL

Modeling workshops are generally held on the first weekend of each month, and are led by Benjamin GEHAN, other sculptors or Jean-Marc de PAS.

Courses are open to beginners. They take place in a friendly, inspiring setting.

The model holds a pose on Saturday, and another on Sunday.

The work is personal: trainees are guided towards the creation of one or two sculptures over two days. They are guided by the intervening artist.

Times: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (8 hours of classes).

Reservations: effective on receipt of full payment for the course, i.e. from 2023 100€, excluding compulsory annual membership and model to be paid 'au cornet' (in cash) on site, sculpture firing optional. One day 60€.

Bring your own picnic, book accommodation if you wish to sleep on site, bring boards and crates to transport your work.

SCULPTURE WORKSHOP

STONE-CUTTING COURSE

Stone-cutting courses are generally held once a semester. They are led by Pauline DURAMÉ.

You'll be working on soft limestone.

Courses are open to beginners.

The work is personal: trainees can bring a motif to create in bas-relief. They are guided throughout the course by the intervening artist (cutting the stone, drawing the motif, direct carving).

Times: 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday (8 hours of classes).

Reservations: effective on receipt of payment of 120€ to the order of Jardin des Sculptures.

Stone: Pauline Duramé will contact you before the course to advise you on the motif and the stone (stone extra).

Membership: on site, you will be asked to join (annual membership compulsory).

Bring your own picnic, and book accommodation if you wish to sleep on site.

TRAINING IN MOLDING TECHNIQUES

Jean-Marc de Pas offers to open his workshop to those wishing to learn casting and printing techniques in different materials.

Training is provided in the context of an exchange with Jean-Marc de Pas: free training, by appointment with the artist, based on his works.

Membership recommended.
