Spring Celebration, May 9 & 10, 2026
The Rotary Club Rouen Collines, in partnership with the Sculpture Garden at Château de Bois-Guilbert, is organizing a “Spring Festival” to benefit APAJH76, and more specifically the young people with multiple disabilities at the EEAP Tony Larue in Grand-Quevilly.
On the agenda for this nature-focused, community-minded, and friendly event:
Sales and Discoveries
• Three renowned nurseries will be present: Pépinières Dupuis in Morgny-La-Pommeraye, Pépinières de la Roselière in Bosc Bordel, and Jardin d’Auguste in Varengeville-sur-Mer
• Plants, shrubs, and greenery from nurseries, members’ gardens, and the Sculpture Garden
• Gardening supplies and Norman grapevines
• Local products: honey, walnut oil...
Activities for all ages
• Sensory workshops for children
• Educational beehive
• Bird-watching sessions at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. led by Richard Grège with the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO)
• Clay modeling from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the teams from the Sculpture Garden
• Pony rides on Sunday afternoon
Lectures
2:00 PM - The climate in Normandy and its impact on biodiversity, presented by the League for the Protection of Birds (in case of rain)
3:00 PM - The Expansion of Vineyards, by Philippe Rivals, Secretary General of In Vigno Meritas
4:30 PM - Secrets of Bees, by Stéphane Ducuing, amateur beekeeper
Tour of the Garden, the new space dedicated to Impressionist-era painters—featuring 20 bronze busts created by Jean-Marc de Pas, the landscape sculptor who designed the garden—and the exhibition “Impressionist Gardens by the Painters of the Rouen School” certified as part of the Normandy Impressionist 2026 initiative.
Live creation by Jean-Marc de Pas of bas-reliefs on the theme of spring.
On-site food and drink stand (hot dogs, croque monsieur with fries, crêpes, etc.)
Sunday, May 10 at 12 p.m.: Dedication of the 20 grapevines planted and donated by In Vigno Meritas and the Rotary Club Rouen Collines
