Concert at 6.00 pm (duration : 1 hour 15 minutes) followed by a cocktail reception with chef Johann de Bois-Guilbert. The concert will take place outside the château, weather permitting. Featuring Claire Fraysse (soprano) and Malo Courbaron (piano)

  • Claire Fraysse

A musicologist and singer, Claire Fraysse teaches at the Faculty of Music and Musicology at Sorbonne University. A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure (Ulm), a holder of the agrégation in music and a graduate of the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse, she is currently working on a thesis on cover versions in rock music from 1955 to 1979, under the supervision of Olivier Julien and Christophe Pirenne. Claire Fraysse writes for "Popular Music", "Volume !" and "La Revue de Musicologie". She has also worked with the Aix-en-Provence Opera Festival as a dramaturg and has collaborated with various musical institutions, such as the Paris Chamber Orchestra and Harmonia Mundi, on the drafting of programmes and album booklets.

  • Malo Courbaron

Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he was awarded prizes in composition (harmony, counterpoint, fugue, musical forms, polyphony, contemporary composition and orchestration). At the same time, he studied piano with a number of renowned performers. Committed to bridging the gap between practice and theory, he undertook in-depth studies in musicology and developed a body of thought informed by theatre, literature, philosophy and art history. He is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris (Ulm) and the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). Committed to passing on his knowledge, he taught piano and then music theory, joining the CRR in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés in 2023. In 2021, he was awarded the Macari Lepeuve Composition Prize (Fondation de France).
