For the fourth year running, Le Jardin is hosting the ‘Nouvelles Voix en Normandie’ tour, bringing the finalists of the Corneille Competition from Rouen to discover Normandy’s heritage and meet the local audience.
- Madeleine Bazola-Minori, winner of the 2025 Corneille Competition
Trained at the Maîtrise du CRR in Tours, Madeleine made her stage debut at a very young age, performing the role of Flora (in Britten’s *The Turn of the Screw*) at the Opéra de Tours. Since 2021, she has been studying opera singing at the CNSMD in Paris in Amaya Dominguez’s class, where she is developing a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary works. Particularly committed to new works, she regularly takes part in contemporary compositions and performs in several opera productions at the CNSMDP, whilst also singing as a soloist with ensembles such as Pygmalion and the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame.
- Sibylle Roth
A passionate musician, Sibylle began her studies at the Metz Conservatoire before specialising in the harpsichord. Having graduated with first-class honours, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris. She performs as a soloist, in chamber music and with various orchestras. Whilst committed to early music, she also explores modern and contemporary repertoires.
- Te-eun Kim
A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts) in modern violin (class of Nam-Yun Kim), Te-eun Kim subsequently turned to early music. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Baroque violin at the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSM), as well as an advanced diploma from the Versailles Regional Conservatoire (CRR). He trained under masters such as Patrick Bismuth, François Fernandez, Stéphanie-Marie Degand and Patrick Cohën-Akenine.
He also holds a diploma in choral conducting. He is currently involved in projects with various ensembles, including the Insula Orchestra, Les Talens Lyriques, Les Folies françoises and L’Ensemble I Gemelli.
- Programme:
Embark on an Italian journey into the heart of the Baroque, where music serves as the guiding thread of a charming escapade. This programme celebrates the greatest Italian composers, or those inspired by Italy, such as Handel, Scarlatti and Caldara. Brilliant arias from Handel’s cantata *Figlio d’alte speranze* and his opera *Teseo* will be complemented by the luminous poetry and pastoral lyricism of Caldara’s *Selve amiche* and Scarlatti’s *Già il sole dal Gange*. Let yourself be swept away on this musical journey that tells an Italian story.
The ticket also grants access to the Garden and the exhibitions.
