In 2008, Jean-Marc de Pas joined the Rouen Academy of Sciences, Literature, and Arts as a corresponding member.

On this occasion, Alain Bézu, director and founder of the Théâtre des Deux Rives in Rouen, read excerpts from Jean-Marc de Pas' doctoral thesis, “Le Malléable et sa pétrification, essai poïétique sur le processus de création” (The Malleable and its Petrification, a Poetic Essay on the Creative Process). He was accompanied by pianist Philipe Davenet.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the Garden, Alain Bézu and Philippe Davenet are doing us the honor of repeating this evening at the château, for an evening at the heart of the intimate creative process.

Reservation required (limited capacity): admission €25/€35 including a visit to the Garden and a cocktail reception.

Arrival before 4:30 p.m.

Access to the Garden: from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Meeting with Jean-Marc de Pas in the workshop: from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Reading and piano: at 5 p.m.

Followed by a discussion with the speakers and Jean Marc de Pas over a cocktail reception.
